INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1
Season the beef patties with salt and pepper on both sides.
Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of smoked cheddar on each patty and cover to melt the cheese.
Step 2
In a skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Step 3
Toast the sesame seed buns until they are golden brown.
Spread a generous amount of barbecue sauce on the bottom half of each bun.
Place the cooked beef patty with melted smoked cheddar cheese on top of the barbecue sauce.
Add two slices of crispy bacon on top of each patty.
Layer with two fried onion rings and a couple of pickle slices.
Top with the other half of the sesame seed bun.
